Living and doing everything from home has become more common these days but can also make people feel physically and mentally isolated. Giving ourselves more concern heals us from the feeling, while beauty and care are a physical satisfaction that also positively affects our mental health and quality of life.
This project is one of the assignments during a packaging design course. The topic is to create illustrations and utilise them in appropriate product packaging. I chose to design for a plant-based hair dye product and created a brand concept with the vision above.

I named this brand chers cheveus (dear hair) to convey a soft voice and manner. Getting inspiration from vintage mirrors, portrait frames, and ancient plaster sculptures of the goddess, I used one-line illustrations, oval shapes and centre-aligned typography to deliver a clean, feminine and elegant style. The portrait illustrations showing great enjoyment aim at conveying a delightful vibe of the product.
